Add a little wink to your holiday with tacky holiday apparel. Once considered festive holiday wear, Christmas sweaters and the like are having a renaissance as tacky holiday wear. (I used to own a holiday sweater or two, back before they were officially tacky, but gave them away after watching one too many episodes of “What Not to Wear,” or as my husband called it, “Everything in My Wife’s Closet.”)
You can get tacky Christmas sweaters everywhere. My daughter and her friend were overwhelmed by the selection at Walmart, and came away with matching “Have a Meow-y Christmas” sweaters with a giant cat on them. Tipsyelves.com is a popular online site for tacky Christmas sweaters, such as this:
